James Willmott - PGA Qualified Golf Professional If you are a complete beginner or an experienced golfer of any age or physical ability, James will tailor his teaching style to suit you as an individual and help you to learn and improve your skills. With 29 years experience in professional golf and having worked along side one of David Leadbetter's most accomplished swing coaches for several years, James has a highly advanced knowledge of the golf swing and an exceptional talent for diagnosing faults and expressing their remedies. James joined the PGA training programme in 1994 and successfully qualified as a PGA Golf Professional in 1999 whilst at Goodwood Golf Club, Chichester. James enjoyed the position of Head Professional at Chichester Golf Club for several years where he earned himself a reputation as an outstanding golf coach and expert custom fitter of golf equipment. Having been the Head Coach for both Chichester College and South Downs College's golf teams and Golf Diploma schemes, James has helped more than 30 of his students on their journey to becoming Golf Professionals or receiving U.S. College Golf scholarships. Over the years James has been a keen and accomplished player, enjoying success in Professional events across the regions.
